Carbon Balanced Printing indicates that alongside the use of Carbon Balanced Paper, your print has been produced by a printer that has measured and balanced the annual impacts of its fossil fuel usage, transportation, and electricity consumption. These impacts are independently verified, and then balanced (offset) by the World Land Trust (WLT), an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats.
World Land Trust offsets these emissions by protecting threatened habitats that would otherwise have been lost, avoiding the release of stored carbon. This enables the regeneration of degraded habitats, which gradually re-absorb atmospheric CO2. So far over 190,000 tonnes of CO2 has been Carbon Balanced and 19,000 acres of threatened forest have been protected.
Sir David Attenborough, a Patron of WLT, stated that “the money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of.”

How Do I Get Involved?
You can start supporting the World Land Trust today, simply by choosing Carbon Balanced Paper. Any paper can be Carbon Balanced and the price is minimal, or even free on certain paper products. All our Digital Print is Carbon Balanced, the price to offset the paper is included in the print price. For litho printing, we will need to give you a quote for carbon balancing, but this can be very low, depending on the print volume. All Online Orders are Carbon Balanced.
