Business Awards celebrate the best in Cornwall

Cornwall Business Awards
Cornwall is full of exciting, ambitious and inspirational businesses and we're lucky to work with many of them - that's why we were proud to help celebrate their success at the Cornwall Business Awards 2018.

The awards ceremony took place at St Mellion Resort, where dozens of companies were shortlisted for the fourteen awards and one final Winner of Winners award.

St Austell Printing Company were pleased to sponsor the “Best Family Business” award, which was won by Teagle Farm Machinery. The same company also went on to gain special recognition with the “Winner of Winners” award.

Beth Mayman, SAPC’s Operations Manager judged the category and said: “Within this category, Teagle Machinery were a difficult company to beat.

“It’s an outstanding family business with an inspirational, third-generation history. Its commitment to the family business ethos seems to disseminate throughout the whole company.

“I’m delighted that Teagle Machinery have won the Best Family Business Award, a deserving winner on many levels.”

Beth was joined by SAPC MD Peter Moody, SAPC Regional Sales Manager Jon Hart and SAPC Marketing and Communications Manager Matt Bunt for the glitzy event which featured a talk by Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace.

Matt said: “We were privileged to be in the company of so many impressive local businesses – many of which we’re very pleased to also count as long-standing clients and friends. We heard stories of dedication, overcoming adversity and fulfilling ambition – all qualities that make doing business in Cornwall great.

“Many congratulations to all the shortlisted and winning businesses. We were happy to celebrate with you all.”
