Love Paper Week is an initiative from Two Sides that champions the sustainability, effectiveness and beauty of paper.

Recycling champion – Paper has the highest recycling rate of any material in Europe at over 75%. In fact, 79% of paper and 83% of paper packaging is recycled into new products.

Growing forests – European forests that supply wood for papermaking are actually expanding by over 1,500 football pitches every day.

Renewable energy – Whilst paper production does require energy, over 62% of the power used in European paper production comes from renewable sources.

The Hidden Cost of Digital

It’s easy to see paper’s environmental impact, but digital communications have a hidden footprint too. Every email sent, video uploaded, photo shared or AI query uses significant energy and vast amounts of water.
